Sunrisers Hyderabad will miss Jonny Bairstow who is the only player from England to play for the side. However, his absence will be a big miss for the side that is heavily dependent on the opening partnership of Warner and Bairstow. The pair has scored over 60 percent of the team’s runs since the wicketkeeper-batsman joined the 2016 IPL champions. There will be serious selection headaches as the side has no proper replacement for Bairstow.
SRH are currently placed last on the playing XI having lost six out of their first seven games. David Warner was removed from captaincy as Kane Williamson stepped in. However, he too lost his first game as skipper to mounting problems for the side. They are in a must-win situation in the UAE leg having to win every game. This is how the Sunrisers Hyderabad line-up may look like in the remaining half of the season.
IPL 2021 2nd Phase: Strongest Playing XI Of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) Without English Players:
Lack of runs from his bat saw him first removed as captain and then dropped from the playing XI. David Warner will be hungry for runs in the second half and with Bairstow missing, the team will be doubly dependent on him to score big runs in the remaining season. He scored 193 runs from six games including two fifties.
