She shared a snapshot of Prabhas delivering the first clap for Amitabh Bachchan when the film began shooting on July 24 on Instagram. Prabhas and Deepika Padukone will be collaborating on a project for the first time. Project K is expected to be a science fiction film developed on a large scale by Vyjayanthi Movies.

starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, began shooting Tuesday in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City. For the film’s first schedule, the producers have built a massive set in Hyderabad. In this schedule, Amitabh Bachchan will be shooting his scenes.
Deepika Padukone updated her Instagram account on July 24 with a new post promoting her next flick. She posted a snapshot of Prabhas delivering the film’s first clap. “It’s Day 1 at Project-K & I’m incredibly psyched for what’s ahead (sic),” she wrote.

On the occasion of Guru Purnima, July 24, director Nag Ashwin is excited to begin work on his dream project. The actors and crew performed a pooja before the filming began. Later on, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone will join the cast.
Nag Ashwin wrote in a post about the first day of the shoot, “This Guru Pournami #Prabhas @deepikapadukone #ProjectK has been a long time coming…and there is still a long way to go…but what a great start to the journey with @SrBachchan sir himself…humbled and grateful this Guru Pournami #Prabhas @deepikapadukone (sic).
“Project K is the working title for the film, as previously stated. The producers will soon reveal the remainder of the cast and crew and the official title.
